Five years before Changgyu's leave, Yonghee was asked to take some time off, and was later resigned by the company. When Changgyu started looking for Yonghee, he became suspicious of him and started following him. Changgyu got close to learning his identity when Yonghee tazed him and escaped.[2]

Later on, Yonghee went to a convenience store and was followed home by Changgyu. He told Changgyu about the YPA and their plans to spread terrorism to gain footing in politics. He also told Changgyu about C13, a drug that heightens the sense of fear and has been developed by the YPA. Yonghee told Changgyu to go home, and he would send him the files later.

When Changgyu went home, Yonghee became nervous. He went to a convenience store and mailed his notes to Changgyu in case anything happened. He called Changgyu and decided to wait for him in the convenience store for safety. However, Moon's assistant was waiting for him.
